Review Policy

Do you have a product you’d like The Hungry I to review? Great! We just have a couple of ground rules to go over. If everything checks out, please fill out the form below to get started.

Ground Rules

• While I will review things from sponsors, I treat the review as any other and will give my honest opinion. Odds are if you’re a sponsor that already means I already like what you do, but if a certain item is below standard I’ll say so rather than putting a happy face on it so I can collect a cheque. I’m a blogger, not CEO of British Petroleum

• If you’re not a sponsor, but thinking about it, you can find information on that by clicking here.

• I do require samples for review, and can’t guarantee you’ll get the samples back. Please don’t contact me asking me to review a product, then try to sell me the product ‘for review purposes’. If I decide on my own to review an item I usually buy it, but I’m just one guy trying to raise nutrition and fitness awareness. I’m not Gismodo and I don’t have a several-thousand-dollar “buy stolen Apple prototypes and other stuff” review budget.

• For smaller items, like a food product, it’s a good idea to offer multiple items and/or a reviewing fee. It won’t guarantee you a glowing review, but I’m only human and as far as putting things in the queue to be tested and written about, it’s a lot like getting to the top of any waiting list. Bribery helps.
